Relax at Black Rock Lodge located in the lush rainforest of the Maya Mountains for our first four days in Belize. Yoga classes are held in the morning and evening on a platform overlooking the Macal River. Explore a cave in a canoe and hike around Mayan ruins as we immerse ourselves in the culture of this unique region of Belize.
Step out onto the beach from your casita for our 3 night stay on Ray Caye Island. Enjoy two yoga classes each day on a dock over the water. Float amongst fishes, turtles and yes, rays on a guided snorkeling tour.
Tune in to your breath and align yourself with elements as we take our yoga practice into nature. Instruction is offered twice a day by Martha Garrett ERYT-500 and Heather Patton ERYT, both trained and certified to teach students at any level of experience.
Both Black Rock Lodge and Ray Caye Island offer guests delicious local cuisine. Because Black Rock in an eco lodge, many of the fruits and vegetables are grown on the property. At Ray Caye the chef prepares a variety of delicious entrees featuring local seafood, steaks, chicken and choices for vegetarians as well.
